Blacksmith Training

In Wale Wale in North Ghana 10 traditional blacksmith enterprises were trained and equipped in six successive years.
A blacksmith association was established where the members can get small loans for the purchase of raw materials needed for their production.
Important topics in the training were:

- Introduction of working tables instead of working on the ground.
- Introduction of electrical hand tools.
- Use of vernier calliper.
- Improvement of workshop layout and use of drawings.
